Marketing is communication with profit in mind; progressive and public service institutions may be uncomfortable with the term, but it is, really, one of those pesky "value-neutral" categories, often also known as "two-edged swords."

In Zen practice, one strives to see things as they are, without the colors added by our hopes, intentions, and desires. marketing is marketing, whether one is promoting a product, a perception, or a practice. The goal is to create an understanding of the value of your "product" in the hearts and minds of the public. Contrary to the beliefs of many marketers, it is best to create an accurate perception of the product's value. I will help you do this, if it is a worthy product. If it is not, don't call me.

I give preferential rates to non-profit or all-volunteer organizations promoting practices likely to result in the betterment of humanity and all that stuff; however, I do not work for free, as I too must eat.

I have presented lectures on sustainable urban development, both broad outlines of the situation or concentrations on specific issues, and can quickly prepare materials on any subject in any of my fields of interest outlined in this website. I always leave time for a Q&A session afer the presentation, as this is often the most valuable part of the lecture.
